Mercosur accession ceremony
· Caracas, Capital District, Venezuela
Vázquez traveled to Caracas for activities surrounding Venezuela's protocol of accession as a full Mercosur member. The official announcement gives a July 2006 departure and return schedule but does not independently report completion of the visit; date is therefore month-level.
