Assumption of Belo Horizonte mayoralty
· Belo Horizonte, Minas Gerais, Brazil
Kubitschek took office as mayor of Belo Horizonte after his appointment was published by the Minas Gerais state government. The source gives February 1940 for the invitation and says he took office two months later; month-level dating is therefore used.
