Entry into Mecca
· Mecca, Kingdom of Hejaz
Ibn Saud entered Mecca during the Saudi conquest of Hejaz, a decisive stage in his expansion beyond Najd. The source appears to contain a typographical omission in the phrase “of 5 December”; the event table gives the date as 5 December 1924.
